BROCK LENSER RETIRES FROM WWE.

0:00 0:00

Brock Lesnar has retired from in-ring competition following his loss to Oba Femi on Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania 42.

Although Brock’s unparalleled 24-year career was defined by championship gold, broken streaks, and dominance, there are five marquee legends he never crossed paths with.

Brock Edward Lesnar was born in Webster, South Dakota on July 12, 1977, and he is currently 48 years old.

Brock Lesnar is a 12-time World Champion, and has won a total of 15 championships in major promotions during his career. He is also a 2-time Royal Rumble winner, 1-time King Of The Ring winner and 1-time Money In The Bank winner.

Though Lesnar will hang up his gloves and boots sooner rather than later, his ceremonial display at WrestleMania 42 was not a retirement. In fact, it was anything but. Heyman is currently in the midst of a storyline with Gunther, whose entire gimmick is retiring legends. In 2025 alone, the top star embarked on a generational career-killing run where he retired Goldberg and John Cena. Just to rub it in, Gunther claimed the career of 2026 WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles at this year’s Royal Rumble. Retirement matches are kinda Gunther’s thing.

And if anybody’s going to retire Brock Lesnar, it’s going to be Gunther.

Speaking in the aftermath of Sunday's event(the retirement), Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, paid tribute to Lesnar and called him a "one of kind" athlete.

"There was not a discussion had afterwards," he said. "I will say this: probably the most famous combat sports athlete of our generation. One of a kind. Nobody like Brock Lesnar. But the one thing that nobody gives him credit for is the intelligence of a fighter. They see Brock as this hulking brute—the Beast, right? They see him as all that.

“There comes a point in time when somebody comes along that’s bigger and better and just pushes you to a place that you can’t come back from. The smart ones know when that happens, and they call it a day.
