In what turned out to be a goal fest on Saturday at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo, the Nigerian girls put on a spectacular show, defeating the Young Amazons 5-3 in the second leg. That victory sealed an impressive 8-5 aggregate win, sending Nigerian fans into celebration mode.

The Flamingos had already laid the groundwork in the first leg, securing a tight 3-2 win in Ikenne, Ogun State. But they made absolutely sure there would be no slip ups in the return fixture.

Goals from Mark Akpan, Esther Stephen, and Queen Joseph powered Nigeria to this emphatic victory, with the team claiming one of Africa's four coveted slots for the tournament.

Coach Akeem Busari's squad has been nothing short of dominant throughout the qualifying campaign. Before facing Benin, they demolished Guinea with a jaw-dropping 11-0 aggregate scoreline (5-0 away, 6-0 home) in the second round. Talk about making a statement!
