MTN Awards N5 Million to Aba Entrepreneurs in 'Pitchanthon' Competition.

Three innovative startups from Aba take home cash prizes for their groundbreaking business ideas.


In an exciting display of entrepreneurial spirit, MTN Nigeria has awarded a total of N5 million to three emerging businesses in Aba, Abia State. The winners emerged from "The Gathering on 100 Pitchanthon" event, which gave local innovators the chance to showcase their products and explain how they're making a difference in their communities.


The event, held at the Prime Time Event Centre in Osisioma Junction, drew a crowd of enthusiastic entrepreneurs and supporters. The prize money was distributed among the top three winners: N2.5 million for first place, N1.5 million for second, and N1 million for third.


The Winners:


· First Place (N2.5 million): Trashverse Recycling Technology Limited - a company transforming waste into valuable resources

· Second Place (N1.5 million): U.D Trend Global Limited

· Third Place (N1 million): Yadah Food Limited


MTN representative Onyebuchi Ukwuegbo congratulated the winners and encouraged them to continue striving for greater heights while lifting others along the way. She also thanked the audience for taking time out of their busy schedules to support the event.


Speaking after receiving the top prize, Charles Ikechukwu, CEO of Trashverse Recycling Technology Limited, expressed his gratitude to the organisers. He described the prize as a game-changer for his company and noted that the funds would enable them to expand their positive impact on society. He urged other young people to focus on creating solutions to societal challenges.


The event highlights MTN Nigeria's commitment to supporting local talent and fostering innovation among young entrepreneurs in the country.
