“Not for Sale at Any Price?” Galatasaray Turns Down a Whopping ₦189 Billion for Victor Osimhen.

If you thought the transfer rumors around Victor Osimhen were cooling off, think again.

According to a new report from Soccernet.ng, Turkish champions Galatasaray have just turned down a jaw-dropping bid of around ₦189 billion (that’s €120 million) for their star Nigerian striker. And no, that’s not a typo.

The offer reportedly came from Atlético Madrid, who are getting nervous about possibly losing both Alexander Sørloth and Julián Álvarez this summer. The Spanish side saw Osimhen as their prime target to lead the line next season. But Galatasaray’s response was firm: thanks, but no thanks.

Let’s not forget Osimhen only joined the Cimbom on a permanent deal from Napoli last summer. And what a season he’s had. The 27-year-old Super Eagles frontman bagged 22 goals and 8 assists in 32 games, firing Galatasaray to their fourth straight league title and making serious noise in the Champions League.

Naturally, that kind of form has attracted Europe’s biggest sharks. Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern you name it, they’ve been linked. But so far, no one has pried him out of Istanbul.

And here’s the twist: Osimhen himself keeps saying he’s happy where he is. He loves the club, the fans, and the city. Galatasaray, for their part, have backed him completely.even putting him on a massive salary after paying €75 million to sign him. That’s unheard of for a Turkish club, but clearly, they’re playing a different game now.

Rejecting €120 million is a bold move. But Galatasaray have already proven they aren’t afraid to shock the football world. Still, with the transfer window open for months, who knows? If another club comes knocking with an even crazier offer, things could get interesting.

For now, though, Osimhen remains in yellow and red and Galatasaray are sending a clear message: their star man is not for sale.
