Unbelievable! Knicks Pull Off Miracle Comeback, Now One Win Away from the Title.

0:00 0:00

You are not going to believe what happened last night.

The New York Knicks just pulled off the single greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. Down by a staggering 29 points, they somehow clawed their way back to beat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 in Game 4. Just let that sink in.

With this win, the Knicks now lead the series 3-1. They have a chance to clinch their first championship since 1973 on Saturday, right in San Antonio.

Honestly, the ending was pure madness. With 1.2 seconds left, OG Anunoby tipped in a missed three pointer from Jalen Brunson to give the Knicks the lead. The Garden absolutely exploded.

This game was a tale of two completely different halves.

The first half was a disaster for New York. Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns picked up two quick fouls just a minute into the game and had to sit. The Spurs took full advantage, dropping 76 points in the first half.the most ever by a road team in the Finals. They couldn't miss from deep, hitting 14 three-pointers before the break. At halftime, it looked like the series was slipping away for good.

But then… the second half happened.

The Knicks came out with a 13-0 run. Slowly, possession by possession, they chipped away at that massive lead. Madison Square Garden got louder and louder with every basket. With 1:22 left, Jalen Brunson finally gave the Knicks their first lead of the entire game.

The Spurs fought back and retook the lead 106-105 with 30 seconds left. That’s when the magic happened. Brunson threw up a long three that hit the front of the rim, but Anunoby soared above everyone and gently tipped it back in for the win.

Brunson finished with a game high 36 points, but Anunoby was incredible too, dropping 33 points and shooting 7-for-9 from three-point range.

After the game, Anunoby just said, "Just doing what it takes to win. We’re resilient."

Oh, and there’s some drama brewing with Victor Wembanyama. The young Spurs star picked up another flagrant foul (his third of the playoffs), meaning he’s just one away from an automatic suspension. He finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds, but admitted the loss hurt badly.

"It was painful," Wembanyama said. "It feels like we worked too hard and gave up our leads. It just hurts."

Game 5 is back in San Antonio on Saturday. The Knicks have never been closer.
