Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has done it again. The "African Giant" has smashed through yet another streaming milestone, clocking an incredible 644 million monthly audience on YouTube Music.

The numbers, released in the platform's latest rankings, place the self proclaimed African Giant head and shoulders above his Nigerian counterparts. With 6.41 million subscribers to his name, Burna Boy's reach dwarfs that of fellow heavyweights Davido (5.04 million subscribers) and Wizkid (3.67 million subscribers), who both command loyal global fanbases in their own right.

But it's not just the subscriber count that's turning heads. The monthly audience figure.representing how many unique listeners engage with an artist's content in a given month.puts Burna in a league of his own.

Hot on his heels in the YouTube Music rankings are:

· Asake: 2.06 million subscribers, 11.6 million monthly audience

· Davido: 5.04 million subscribers, 25.4 million monthly audience

· Wizkid: 3.67 million subscribers, 24.2 million monthly audience

· Seyi Vibez: 500,000 subscribers, 3.28 million monthly audience

The top ten also features Omah Lay, BNXN, Young Jonn, Rema, and Odumodublvck, showcasing the incredible depth of talent emerging from Nigeria's vibrant music scene.

This latest achievement adds to what has been a banner year for the Port Harcourt born artist. Just weeks ago, Burna Boy made history as the African artist with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify, peaking at 46.84 million and surpassing South African star Tyla's previous record of 46.58 million.

So what's driving this meteoric rise? Much of the credit goes to "Dai Dai," Burna's electrifying collaboration with Colombian icon Shakira. The track, chosen as the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, captured hearts worldwide after its show.stopping performance at the tournament's opening ceremony.

The World Cup spotlight has clearly paid dividends, introducing Burna Boy's unique brand of Afro.fusion to millions of new ears across every corner of the globe and cementing his status as one of Africa's most streamed artists.
