Paid AI Traineeship in Riyadh Opens for Recent Saudi Graduates But There's a Catch.

Recent Saudi university graduates dreaming of a career in artificial intelligence now have a golden opportunity if they can meet some tough requirements.


The Misk Foundation, in partnership with AI company HUMAIN, has opened applications for its Future AI Builders Traineeship a paid, full time, six month program designed to give young Saudis hands on experience in one of the world's fastest growing fields.


What the Program Offers


Running from December 6, 2026 to June 6, 2027 in Riyadh, the traineeship promises real world AI projects, mentorship from industry professionals, and training in cutting edge areas like machine learning, data analytics, generative AI, and responsible AI practices.


Selected participants will receive financial compensation throughout the program and a certificate of completion at the end a solid boost for anyone building an early career in tech.


Who Can Apply:


The program is open to Saudi nationals between 22 and 32 years old who hold a bachelor's degree in AI, computer science, or a related technical field from a Ministry of Education recognized university.


But the bar is set high. Applicants need:


· A minimum GPA of 3.75 out of 5.00

· Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with a valid IELTS or TOEFL score

· Demonstrated AI experience through academic, personal, or research projects

· Completion of the AI for the Future Hackathon a mandatory requirement


How to Apply:


The selection process is multi-stage: an online application, a 2-minute video introduction, application screening, a virtual interview, participation in the HUMAIN Hackathon, and final selection.


Applicants are encouraged to highlight their technical skills, AI projects, problem solving abilities, and genuine motivation for a career in AI.
