Political Heavyweights Commend "The Quartets" for Publishing Book Concerning Zoning in Enugu State Ahead of 2027 Elections

The former Governor of Enugu State, Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi commended “The Quartet” for creating a book that serves as reference concerning zoning, he also appreciated them for the proper timing as elections were around the corner.

The statement was made at the official book launch of the book titled “ Zoning of Governorship Position in Enugu State; Evolution Practice and Convention 1999-2023” held on the 7th of May 2026 at The Dome, International Conference Center, Enugu.

The book, written by Dr Uchenna Anioke, Former Chairman National Publishers Association and Co - authors; Mr Clinton Umeh PhD, Dr Ambrose Igboke PhD and Dr Chikezie Obasi, was reviewed by Founder Michael Okpars Leadership & Entrepreneural Centre, UNN, Hon Chinedu Orji, who praised the authors for bringing light to what people have silently discussed, he also pointed that the book serves as a standard document for the unwritten law of zoning in Enugu State.

The event hosted several dignitaries such as the Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah, represented by Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, Former Govornor Enugu State, Sullivan Chime represented by his former Chief of Staff, Sir Victor Nnnanma, Commissioner for Police represented by Mr Patrick Nnamchi, amongst others.

His royal majesty, Igwe Dr Samuel Asodu( Ogadagidi), Chairman Enugu Traditional Rulers Council, and Father of the Occasion, on behalf of other traditional rulers present stated that stand as pillars of peace which the book also supports.

The Chief presenter, Dr Cosmas Agu, Managing Director Comag Steel and Construction Ltd, represented by Chief Emeka Nkwuaba enjoined the dignitaries for a photo session, accompanied by exchange of pleasantries and remarks by other guests.
