‎The memorandum of understanding aims to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, lift sanctions on Iran, and kickstart 60 days of achieving  final deal.

‎The agreement commits to allowing the US to issue waivers so Iran will be able to export oil and spell out provisions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. It also aims for the US and regional partners to developing a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran.

‎The MOU ends the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon, where Israel has continued to carry out strikes. Trump said the US sent Israel a copy of the agreement, and again criticized Israel’s military actions against Hezbollah.
