APC Chair Yilwatda: Tinubu’s South-East Projects Will Deliver Victory in 2026 Polls.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, says President Bola Tinubu’s massive infrastructure projects across Nigeria’s South-East region will give him a clear edge over other presidential candidates in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking yesterday at a massive rally in Abakaliki Township Stadium organized by Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru and Works Minister David Umahi—Yilwatda declared that no past president has done as much for the South-East as Tinubu. The event also saw the adoption of Tinubu and other APC candidates for next year’s elections.

Yilwatda expressed confidence that the President would not only win Ebonyi State but the entire South-East zone.

Governor Nwifuru went a step further, boldly stating that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has no future in Ebonyi State in the 2026 elections. He listed some of Tinubu’s signature projects in the region, including the dualisation of the Enugu–Abakaliki, Enugu–Onitsha, and Enugu–Okigwe–Aba–Port Harcourt roads, as well as the Calabar super highway that links Ebonyi, Benue, and Nasarawa to Abuja.

Meanwhile, the South-East Zonal Coordinator of the PBAT Door to Door Movement, Ambassador Precious Emmanuel Ine, called for unity and reconciliation among party members after the APC primaries. She thanked all aspirants, delegates, and stakeholders for their peaceful participation and urged those who lost to remain loyal.

“The APC remains one united family with a common purpose and shared destiny,” she said.
