Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has led a delegation of key stakeholders from the state to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The delegation reportedly included political leaders, traditional rulers, and representatives of various interest groups within Enugu State. The visit is understood to be part of ongoing engagements between state governments and the federal administration aimed at strengthening cooperation on governance, development, and security matters.
During the meeting, discussions focused on issues affecting Enugu State and the South-East region, including infrastructure development, economic growth, and federal support for ongoing state projects. The stakeholders also presented concerns relevant to the region, while highlighting areas where collaboration with the federal government could enhance service delivery and investment opportunities.
President Tinubu acknowledged the delegation and reiterated the federal government’s commitment to working with subnational governments across the country. He emphasized the importance of unity and coordination in addressing national challenges and advancing development priorities.
The meeting forms part of a broader pattern of consultations between state leaders and the presidency, as administrations at both levels seek alignment on policy implementation and national development strategies.
